TechQuest STEM Academy ICT Competition Winners Honoured at PTA Meeting

Ado Girls’ Secondary School, Onitsha – A Smart School, proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of students who participated in the Internal ICT Competition organized by TechQuest STEM Academy on 27th March 2026.

The competition was designed to challenge and develop students’ digital literacy, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and presentation skills through four progressive stages. Participants were assessed in General Knowledge of ICT Basics, Internet Safety, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Scratch Programming, Computational Thinking Challenges, and Pitching and Presentation.

Throughout the competition, students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm, innovation, and a strong understanding of emerging technologies. Their performances reflected the school’s commitment to preparing learners for a technology-driven future and fostering critical 21st-century skills.

In recognition of their hard work and exceptional performance, the winners were formally awarded during the school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Meeting. The presentation of awards before parents, teachers, and stakeholders provided an opportunity to celebrate excellence and encourage greater student participation in STEM-related activities.
